Express delivery is sent via our courier and takes 1 -2 working days. It is only available for orders in the United Kingdom. Orders placed before 12 midday will be collected on the same day (subject to stock) and delivered the next working day. Orders placed after 12 midday will be collected the next working day, and delivered the day following collection date (subject to stock). During busy periods, dispatch of personalised items may take longer.
Please note - we ship to the United Kingdom and Europe only. We do not ship to the USA.
If goods are out of stock, customers will be notified and offered a substitute of either the same or a higher value.
Customers are notified by email upon despatch of goods.
Returns:
You have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days of receipt.
If you wish to cancel your order, you must advise us in writing or via email within 7 days of receipt, and return the goods to us in their entirety, at your own cost, within 14 days of receipt. Funky Dory Party Bags will provide a full refund of your original order upon receipt of the returned goods, as long as they are in good, resaleable condition. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Please note: we cannot offer a refund on personalised goods, unless the item is faulty or the personalisation is incorrect due to an error on the part of Funky Dory Party Bags. For this reason we pay very close attention to detail and do our utmost to ensure personalised items are correct before despatching them.
Missing or Late Deliveries
Late Deliveries:
We pay close attention to your delivery requirements, and do all we can to meet them. However, Funky Dory Party Bags are not liable for the late arrival of goods. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure they order their goods in plenty of time for when they are needed.
If the goods arrive after the date of the party, then you have the right to cancel your order and return the goods to us. Please inform us in writing within 7 days of receipt of the goods. You should then return them to us at your own cost, within 14 days, and we will provide a refund upon receipt of the goods, so long as they are in good, resaleable condition. Personalised goods cannot be returned for a refund.
Lost Deliveries:
Goods that are sent via Royal Mail cannot be classed as lost or missing until 21 working days after the date of despatch. In instances where goods are delayed in transit, we suggest you do the following:
- contact your local sorting office to ensure they have no parcel for you. It is also advisable to check with neighbours, and the normal "safe" areas where your postal worker would normally leave packages.
- contact us to verify that the delivery address details are correct
If the delivery address given to us was correct, and the goods have still not arrived after 15 working days, we will seek compensation from the post office and either offer a refund, or replacement goods. As part of the compensation procedure, Royal Mail will need to contact you to verify all the details of the order and your address.
Please note: all orders are sent to the address given to us by the customer, as entered by the customer. If you have moved recently, or are paying via PayPal, then please ensure your new address is registered with PayPal, as Funky Dory Party Bags are not responsible for orders going astray due to being sent to a previous address. If the delivery address given to us by the customer is incorrect, Funky Dory Party Bags are not liable for any losses.
Redeliveries
If delivery has been attempted by Royal Mail and subsequently returned to us, then we will resend the order if the customer wishes. However, as all deliveries are subsidised by Funky Dory Party Bags, the customer may incur a surcharge for redelivery. If nobody is at home to accept a courier delivery, the courier will leave a card and attempt to deliver again the next working day. After two failed delivery attempts, the goods will remain at the courier depot where they will be available for collection by the customer.
